DONNA’S ELEGANT HOLIDAY UP-DO

As the holidays roll around, for many that means invites to holiday parties. If you’re looking for a beautiful updo to wow everyone but don’t want to spend the time and effort, here are a few steps to easily achieve an elegant holiday updo.
Tool Kit:
- BaBylissPRO® MiraCurl 3 (BABNTMC3C)
- Isinis Small Boar Bristle Paddle Brush (240SANNC)
- Krest Tail comb (441C)
- BaBylissPROTM Sectioning Clips (BES24UCC)
- BaBylissPROTM Bobby Pins (BESBOBPINBKUCC)
- BaBylissPROTM Argan Oil Thermal Shine Spray (BAOILSS4CAN)
- BaBylissPROTM Argan Oil Volume Hairspray (BAOILVHS10-55)


1) On clean, dry hair, brush out any tangles with the Isinis Small Boar Bristle Paddle Brush until smooth then spray hair with BaBylissPROTM Argan Oil Thermal Shine Spray for heat protection and shine.

2) Curl hair using the BaBylissPROTM MiraCurl 3 on the small or medium curl setting. On the left side of the head, the direction of the curls should be set to counter-clockwise, and clockwise for the right side to ensure hair is being curled away from the face.

3) Using the Isinis Small Boar Bristle Paddle Brush, tease the crown section for some height, then smooth back, twist the section and cross 2 bobby pins to secure it at the base of the crown.

4) Section away the hair at the sides of the head. These pieces will be assembled last.

5) Take 2-3 curls and wind them together around your index and middle fingers to create one bigger curl. Use a bobby pin to secure.

6) Continue step 5 until all curls have been pinned down. Be mindful about where you pin down each section; you want to make sure the shape of updo is balanced and symmetrical.

7) Take the remaining hair from one side of the head, wind the curls to create one bigger curl, then bring it across on top of the updo over to the opposite side. Tuck in the ends so you don’t see them and secure
with bobby pins. Repeat on the opposite side.

8) Spray with BaBylissPROTM Argan Oil Volume Hairspray to hold the style and finish off with spraying BaBylissPROTM Argan Oil Thermal Shine Spray for a glossy finish.
