Being a stylist behind the chair should not stop at just doing hair. Business building is an important step to being a
successful stylist. This should include being active on social media, educating and training clients and retailing
Here are three major steps to growing your business in 2017:
1. Post your work on social media; be very proud of what you do and showcase it. This will help generate new
clients and potential staff. Remember to tag @dannycohair so we can also share your work with all our followers!
2. Time activate all your clients’ appointments in your Dannyco Appointment Books. Encourage them to book
their next appointment prior to leaving the salon. Always connect with them and give them a gentle reminder,
which gives you a great opportunity to up-sell services during that follow-up call.
3. The most important part of your client appointment is the finished product. Why not send your clients home with
some of the tools you used on their hair? Retailing electrical products is a great way to generate additional
income especially during the slower months in the salon.
Remember to carry more than one of each sku; this is very attractive and appealing to the consumer. A stocked shelf
encourages repeat purchases and keeps extra money in your pockets.
